![]() ![]() That update also made CCleaner difficult to close through standard methods.įinally, in 2018 the app also started ignoring users' preference to disable automatic updates. This is fairly standard, but the problem was that when you turned the setting off, it re-enabled itself upon a reboot. Later, the company introduced an "Active Monitoring" feature that collected anonymized data about your usage. The 32-bit app version on CCleaner's website was hacked, adding a Trojan to the download, which the company thankfully caught before it became widespread. SCCM is used with the provision TS to do some more quirky bits we do, i could install office and company portal via Intune and then the rest via SCCM but would prefer to use Intune if possible. In case you're not familiar, CCleaner's issues started in 2017 shortly after developer Piriform was bought by Avast. I think the easiest way for this to be done would be for another dynamic group for the devices to go into with the applications assigned, they then come out of the group when ESP/Autopilot finishes but im not sure how to do that? ![]() We've told PMPC to update copy the assignments to the new application in intune, that's so we don't have to go in after X number of weeks to change to the new V manually. IE Chrome, we handle those kind of updates through patch rings and SCCM so want it to only install the applications during provisioning. However when PMPC then pushes a new version of said app up to intune all devices enrolled via autopilot install the updated verison. We are starting our autopilot journey and use PMPC to push as many of our Default apps into intune as we can to save manual labour. We use PMPC to make our lives 10X easier with SCCM. ![]()
